Net
The piece of netting stretched accross the middle of the court, held up by the posts
Net Cord
The cable that supports the net
Net Point
The point won by a player after Deuce and only needs one more point to win the game. If a player loses advantage it goes back to Deuce
New Balls
New set of balls replacing the old ones during the game due to groundstrokes heating up and altering its bounce characteristics
No Mans Land
The area between the baseline and the service line, so called because a player who is caught there finds it difficult to hit groundstrokes
NTRP Rating
A tennis rating system which consists of a scale from 1 to 7 with a 1 being an absolute beginner and a 7 a touring pro
